To test print
using the included HemaTrax HTClient test program installed in
the same Program Files directory as the HemaTrax Print Server,
run this program by double-clicking its program icon. From the currently
displayed HTClient test program window, click on the “TCP/IP Host
Connection” tab to display its page. Establish the client-to-server
connection with the HemaTrax Print Server program by specifying
the proper server machine’s IP address and listening port number inside
the “Server Settings” panel and click on the “CONNECT” located next to
the right of the “Listening Port:” entry edit box and make sure
this button is now labeled “DISCONNECT”.
- Click on the
u button
until the “Unit ID/Collection + Processing Labels Info.” tab is
displayed then click on it. With the “Unit ID/Collection +
Processing Labels Info.” page now displayed, change the current

or enter this text if the “Unit Set Format File” entry edit box is

assigned then select an available port number from the “Printer Port
Selection” combo box drop-down selections and set the correct
“Printer Address”, “Printer Model”, “Baud Rate and CRC” – serial
connection only, and “Label Form Loaded” respectively. Also make
sure the current entered value in the “Horizontal Offset in mm”
entry edit box is 3 if using the Sato CL-412 series printer.
If, however, the target printer is the Zebra Z4M series printer then
adjust the horizontal and vertical positions by changing the
contents of the “Horizontal Offset in mm” and “Vertical Offset in
mm” entry edit boxes to 1.5 and –1 respectively. Click
on the “Set” button to save or accept any change in the
settings.

“Print Label” page now displayed, select the printer port number
from the “Printer Port Selection” combo box selections defined
previously on step 9. Now click on the “Unit ID Set ISBT”
button to begin printing Unit ID Sets label.
- Verify barcode and text
positions in the labels -- adjust X-Offset or Y-Offset value if
necessary from the “Printer Port Definitions” page.

ID Sets labels using actual client program other than
HTClient test program is beyond the scope of this procedure.
Make sure the “Print Unit ID Set” message being sent to the server
from your client program contains the new label format file name
parameter. The Unit ID Sets print label message should appear
as follows:
PUN,”<Port Number>”,
“FORMAT6M”,”<Facility Code>”, “<Collection Year>”,
